Fascias and soffits
Best for: The usual request
The white boards under the roof line, front and back, plus the downpipes.
White plastic does not stay white. Fascias and soffits go grey and then green, and once the surface has oxidised a wipe with soapy water stops touching it. We clean uPVC with the right chemistry rather than pressure, which lifts the film off without leaving the chalky, scoured look that a jet wash gives.
Grey fascias make a well-kept house look neglected from the pavement. Cleaning them costs a fraction of replacing them, and on most houses in Enfield and Barnet the plastic underneath is in perfectly good condition.

Not all grey uPVC is the same problem. Most of it is a film that comes off. Some of it is oxidation that needs a restorer to bring the surface back. A small amount has gone too far and the honest answer is replacement, which is not a job we do or profit from.
A grey or green film sitting on the surface. Cleans off completely and looks new afterwards. This is most of what we see.
The plastic itself has dulled and chalked. A restorer treatment brings back most of the finish, though not quite to new.
Brittle, cracked or yellowed right through. Cleaning will not fix it and we will tell you to get a quote for replacement instead.
Surface dirt comes off easily. Oxidised plastic needs more work, and if it is beyond cleaning we will say so instead of taking the money.
The right cleaner, worked and rinsed. High pressure on uPVC leaves it chalky and takes the shine off permanently.
Fascia, soffit, downpipe and frames together, because half a cleaned elevation looks worse than none of it.
Every property is different. We tell you which of these actually suits yours, and say so when the cheaper option is the sensible one.

Best for: Oxidised plastic
For uPVC that has gone chalky rather than dirty. More work than a clean, considerably cheaper than replacement.
Quoted per elevation or for the whole house, fixed before we start. Cleaning the fascias at the same time as the gutters means one visit instead of two.
